URGENT: Rush lifesaving aid to girls and families impacted by catastrophic flash floods in Nepal

As many as 17,000 children have been affected by the severe flash flooding and landslides that swept through the Nepal-China border region on August 26.

The flooding caused massive destruction and devastation for communities in the area.

The loss of homes, schools, roads and essential infrastructure like healthcare clinics and power plants will make rebuilding a major challenge – and girls are the most at risk.

Plan International is working alongside local partners to provide relief packages which include food, blankets, clothing and solar-powered flashlights. Your gift today can ensure that our teams on the ground will continue providing lifesaving essentials in the days ahead.

Can we count on your help now to support girls, children and their families in the Nepal-China border?

• $35 can provide a hygiene kit for one girl.
• $70 can provide safe drinking water to a family.
• $150 can provide safe shelter to a family.

Plan International teams in the Nepal-China border will continue to assess the full impact, working closely with local authorities to respond. Thank you for being a part of this lifesaving work!
